Mizi brought me out yesterday to the other side of the country to dine in and meet chef Bob. I thought chef Bob was the cutest, most adorable person. But you know who is the sweetest? My boyfriend who traveled back and forth the country despite how tired he was from work just to make me happy. Gawd what is that
I been wanting to go thrifting ever since the holiday started, one month and a week later, there I was. Of course earlier today was not smooth sailing, what's with the stress over my elective modules over weighed by my compelling cramps. Waited and waited till everything subsided and finally went out of the house at three in the afternoon!
Only went to the nearest which is at Woodleigh, I heard the day was humid so I threw on my short and oversized sleeveless. The shopkeeper told me total was 30$ and I told her that I only bought 22$ with me so I managed to swoop two blazers, a skirt and one pair of jeans at the end of the day. Maybe I should try bringing lesser money next time... But what the hell, it's for charity right! ( or I'm a pushover and not much of a haggler )
The skirt does not actually rest there. It sorts of hangs on my hip which I think one look I can't pull off yet. So I'm confused now whether should I alter it shorter or just permanently use safety pin. But all in all, what a lovely piece right!
I was having a mixed feeling between this and an Armani jeans, and now, I'm confused whether to cut it off and cuff it into a short or just go with the original piece.. I think this could be called a confusing pair of jeans.
The first blazer is from valley girl and the second one is from club marc! I had more blazers in hand ! There were oversized white blazer and more printed blazers but I don't know if I would wear any of them, and if I would not wear it often so why would anyone.
I saw a Jimmy Choo wallet and many LV bags hahahahaha, but the shopkeeper was not keen in letting it go for 2$ though she offered to keep it for me. I rejected her offer anyway, instead I registered to be a member so yay!
I think today me and mizi are supposed to have dinner together and maybe watch date night later after. But mizi slept late after work so he has yet to wake up so I'll just keep the stockings on just in case we are really going to, I'm watching american Idol anyway! Adam Lambert is a good mentor!
Today mizi brought me out for lunch. We managed to play some arcade games too while we're at it. I played against a kid who truly knew his way in killing monsters while having another kid tutoring me which direction I should shoot with mizi in the middle laughing. Paid a short visit to the library to enlighten ourselves with magazines and comics. Rode in the heavy rain traveling around the city, teasing each other with our drenched clothes. Snuggled in a warm blanket before mizi left for work. Today me and mizi turned one and half a year.
School is starting in six days' time! I think it is safe to say that I am pretty excited about it..Mainly because it's necessary for a turnover/brand new leaf ever since the bad GPA, another is because I know it'll be rocking with my girlfriends in school! Yup! I just have to stick with the spirit for another year! hahahahaha. No seriously, I am exhilarated :)
Tomorrow will mark the year and a half with mizi ! I know many of you beg to differ but the thing is I'm happy! Been happy for the past 18 months, of course completed with all the dramanation, but yes I am pretty damn sure standing right here at this point, I never had anything like this before. And, whatever happens in the future, I know I will look back and be grateful for what has happened.
I'm hungry now! Had a stomach breakdown in the morning hahahahahaha. Waiting for yi ling to finish enjoying her skyride and luge and I hope we're going for lunch after that...hahahahaha! See you everybody!
Borrowed a book from library on basic sewing since I got inspired by a fashion blogger who made her own sick romper, I mean, what is that?! It's a step-by-step guide book, I think the first step is to make skirts ; A-line, waistband and with buttons. I still am in debt with Dionne regarding the fabric necklace. Maybe it's time to hit spotlight.. or was it people's park?

Compared to the other day, I think today was a better day in style in the remaking. How cute is that romper! It was a tedious mid-calf, cuffed it all the way up for this photo hahaha, I think I will hem it up someday when I found my sewing kit in the dusty overstuffed storage room. I feel like thigh high socks would complete the look but I'm having a mixed feeling. More style forking later. I'm famished and I have to go, bye!
I was bored out of my sanity yesterday so at 00:30 I decided to bake cookies, or rather bread. I heated my toaster oven before hand with wishful thinking. A star couldn't replace the moon however, but oh well. I might have as well licked the dough.. Is it allowed?
Addicted to ice cream tycoon!! Makes me want to get an itouch myself! Mizi came over for a little while before work to pull me out of my boredom. Going to watch sister's band performance this sunday with mizi! I hope we'll survive hahhahahahaha
My moschino belt!!! I overspent this week.. Raffffff, so Im now left with 7 dollars a day for the rest of the month! Life is tough.. Alright people! I need to meet a buyer of my chanel purse who pays only 35$, damn dead buyers!
